Veggie Boxes are back in 2025!

This year our CSA will be run collaboratively through the Fruits & Veggies Farmer Collective. We are three farms using our collective power to grow food & flowers in a way that create thriving farmers, ecosystems, and communities. We are working together in 2025 to deliver our best CSA yet!

The Veggie Box is a form of Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA), a model first established in the 1960s by Dr. Booker T. Whatley, a Black farmer and agricultural professor from Alabama. The model allows eaters like you to help provide financial support at the beginning of the farming season when farmers incur the bulk of our expenses buying seeds, equipment, tools, and more. In return, you receive supremely fresh veggies and become part of a community of people invested in sustaining a small, local farm. It's a unique opportunity to decrease the impact of your food consumption on the climate, get more acquainted with your food, know who and where it comes from, and learn how eating with the seasons impacts your body.

With each box you receive:

  • delicious, just-harvested box of vibrant veggies with a variety of 6-8 items (we always aim for more items when we can!)

  • newsletter with updates from the farm, a list of what's in the box, recipes, and tips for how to best utilize your produce

  • resources to support you on your veggie box journey

Pricing

Suggested $700 for the 20-week season

Why “suggested?” Because we offer payment levels for everyone! Have a little? Pay less. Have a lot? Pay more! We offer a sliding scale payment system to:

  1. ensure that everyone who wants access to our veggies can get them

  2. build a culture of solidarity and respect within our community

  3. ensure the farm receives enough funding to honor our work

If you need support figuring out what payment level makes sense for you, check out this resource from Zenger Farm.

Paying with ACH Transfer

To help us keep our credit card processing fees minimal, we encourage folks to use the payment method “Pay with US Bank Account” at checkout. This option is only available for people choosing to pay at the $250 level or above.

Paying in Installments

You can also choose to pay in installments to ease the challenge of paying all at once. If you’d like to pay in installments, please select the total amount you’d like to pay over the course of the season in the dropdown menu above. Then, enter the discount code that applies to you below. We will send invoice reminders when the rest of your payments are due.

  • To pay in 2 installments over the course of the season, use the code 2INSTALL in the discount code section at checkout.

  • To pay in 4 installments over the course of the season, use the code 4INSTALL in the discount code section at checkout.
